A kind comment

Someone was very kind to me, saying:

Then there's Stephen. Stephen writes in a way that allows each of us to think. He takes you places you don't especially want to go sometimes, but it is always worth the effort.
I do try to let people think, at least most of the time.

And you do-

I could not agree more- And I said so to her, when I read it.

I like the title of this post. As it happens, I just got mad at someone. I came downstairs after saying something biting and got on the computer. I looked at this blog and read portions of the journal entries you and your wife wrote about your daughters.

Awhile ago, a friend told me he felt he didn't really "fit" into Mormonism. I answered that none of us really fits, since the core of our faith is an intimate and very personal relationship with the Savior, even though we have some communal experiences as we cut our paths. We rarely guess what unseen burdens others are carrying, or how our words can help or hurt them as they try to take their next steps. Your words helped me, and the title "A kind comment" is exactly what I think everyone on the bloggernacle needs to perma-glue on their computers.

Although I say that I am addicted to blogs, I am actually rather selective on the blogs that I read on a regular basis.

I do appreciate the thought that goes into a lot of your posts.

I will ponder posts recorded in my mind from time to time that are in the archives.
